Revolutionary Technology
Kitty's Crumble is manufactured on energy efficient machinery that was designed, built and is used exclusively by Galuku, the world leader in coir media. This is only the beginning in making the Kitty's Crumble carbon footprint small.
Localized Production
Kitty's Crumble is manufactured in plants located within actual coconut plantation, where only minimal transportation of the raw material (coconut husks) to the processing plant is required. This plays another part on reducing the product's carbon footprint.
Renewable Organic Resource
As Kitty's Crumble is manufactured with a renewable organic (non food crop) resource, no trees need to be cut down, nor are any pulping or mining processes required to produce. Compared with other forms of pet litter, the Kitty's Crumble carbon footprint is comparatively minuscule.
Smart-Bag Packaging
As a further reduction in the Kitty's Crumble carbon footprint, it is provided in recyclable Smart-Bag packaging. Smart-Bags™ leave no empty (wasted) space within the bag. Compared with other pet litters this could mean up to 25% more product in the same comparable bag size.
The Smart-Bag™ translates to cost savings in transporting and storing, and a smaller carbon footprint. The Smart-Bag™ design also affords attractive merchandising display right off the pallet.
No Carbon Footprint History
Unlike many other types of pet litter Kitty's Crumble never began as something else. Such types of litters have been manufactured from materials that were transported, used and then transported again before being manufacturedinto litter material. Those types of litter have an unfortunately large carbon footprint. Often consuming enormous amounts of water and other resources in their manufacturing process.
Recyclable Material
The intrinsic value of Kitty's Crumble continues after initial intended use as a litter. The end user can recycle the used litter, with solid waste removed, in their own garden (as water saving soil conditioner) or compost bin. The used litter continues to be beneficial without further transportation, reprocessing, or increase to the product's carbon footprint.
Kitty's Crumble remains beneficial to most forms of waste processing however it is discarded.
